I was aware of S. Thomas and Associates and Design Consign when they opened their business in Brainerd and I had attended some of their sales. I knew from being in the resale business that they did a good job and had a good reputation.
They saw how much you can put in a 5500 square foot house and a large garage and storage loft. They did it all, set up tables, priced thousands of items, set up good looking displays, and then for two days cashiered for thousands of purchasers. The results, based on dollars in, and “stuff” out, was really an amazing accomplishment.
The other benefit was the wonderful advertising S. Thomas & Associates did and the number of persons who came through that might have an interest in purchasing the house. It was really what they call a “win win” situation.
